I am a Professor in Applied Economics and Quantitative Methods in the School of Business and the Director - Graduate Studies at Charles Sturt University. My main research interest is applied econometrics and modelling markets with imperfect competition.  I have a specific expertise in developing and applying disequilibrium and limited dependent variable (LDV) econometric techniques. I currently also maintain an interest in structural equation modelling techniques.

2SLS (two-stage least squares) Estimator for SEM (Structural Equation Models)

You can download teaching notes on Bollen's (1996, Psychometrika) 2SLS estimator for latent variable models. These notes also describe relevant goodness of fit, diagnostic and non-nested testing procedures. An example using SPSS (and SHAZAM) of the 2SLS procedure is also available.
